My Story

Golden Hour began in New Zealand, inspired by my love of the beach and those late afternoons when the light turns soft and golden.

After moving from the UK over ten years ago, I found it hard to find gold jewellery that offered both quality and affordability. I loved solid gold, but not the high price, and every gold-plated piece of jewellery seemed to tarnish so quickly. I wanted to create something in between: pieces that looked and felt luxurious, designed for everyday wear, made to last but without the solid gold price tag.

I’ve always loved spending time at the beach, especially here in New Zealand, and those calm, glowing moments at the end of the day became the inspiration behind Golden Hour. Each piece is handcrafted in Brazil using 18k gold filled materials and designed for lasting quality and shine.
